Deborah A. Wilcox practices in the litigation area and is a member
of the intellectual property team. Ms. Wilcox is experienced in trademark
and Internet domain name selection, registration and licensing,
copyright registration and licensing, and litigation over intellectual
property rights and related contractual and ecommerce issues. She currently
supervises the intellectual property work for a diverse clientele, including
managing an international media and communication syndicate's intellectual
property matters regarding several well-known cartoon properties. Ms. Wilcox
has traveled extensively in Southeast Asia and has appeared in a Korean
television broadcast concerning international protection of
intellectual property rights of United States companies.
Ms. Wilcox has also spoken on trademark issues of concern to
universities and colleges, use of the federal courts to protect intellectual
property rights, copyright registration and enforcement, copyright issues for
book authors, protection in the PRC, and domestic and international
e-commerce and domain name internet issues.
Ms. Wilcox is a member of the American (Litigation and Intellectual
Property sections), Ohio and Cleveland Bar Associations, the International
Trademark Association, and the International Anticounterfeiting Coalition.
