John has been with AltaVista for 18 months managing a small team of engineers looking after 28 language sites for 21 countries. John has been in the software industry for about 17 years. A few years of that time doing development in 'C' and assembler. The majority of the time involved in L10N and I18N, looking at software design, implementation and QA. Before joining AltaVista John worked for Ashton-Tate Corp., Nantucket Corp. and Computer Associates.
