At the age of 12 Jodi Showers started his first software company writing video games in the comfort of his partner's bedroom. Ever since, he has led software development in high tech companies. As CEO of RightContent, he lead the team through startup, to buyout in 2005. Prior, as CTO of BigEquip.com, Jodi represented the technical face of BigEquip.com with the software and construction industries. BigEquip.com successfully raised three rounds of capital and was featured in Business 2.0 and was awarded 'B2B Best Of The Web' by Forbes magazine in 2000. Most Recently, he is simultaneously devoted to his young family and all things technical vaulting HomeStars to become the face of home renovation in North America.
Jodi has a Computer Engineering degree from Humber College and is a contributing author, 'The Rails Way' by Addison-Wesley.
