A regular at SES conferences, Dave has been in the in the Search industry six years working primarily on the agency side of the business, first with SEM agencies such as eonMedia and Inceptor, and more recently with full-service advertising agencies including Carat and Avenue A. His primary interest is driving the evolution of Search as it takes its place within the greater context of advertising. At Carat Fusion, Dave is responsible for building the SEM practice within the agency, which includes driving strategy, staffing, training and integration, as well as serving as the client contact on key accounts.
Dave holds an MBA from the University of California, San Diego and a BA in Sociology from UC Berkeley. He has worked on key client projects for Best Buy, Gateway, 1800Flowers, Hyundai, TiVo, Kodak, Napster and DishNetwork, among others. You can contact him at david.roth@carat.com.
