Corey Carrillo joined Intel Corporate Internet Marketing in October, 2004 as a search engine marketing and online promotions specialist, building awareness of and preference for Intel's telecommunications, mobility, network connectivity and embedded solutions. His contextual based, content-driven efforts there have helped educate and promote Intel's industry leading technologies like WiMAX broadband wireless, VoIP, Virtualization and Flash memory. In 2006, Corey joined Global Media to extend his search and internet media marketing expertise on a global level across Intel business units.
Prior to joining Intel, Corey has 11 years experience in search and internet marketing and traditional advertising, beginning in the San Francisco ad agencies of Foote, Cone & Belding and McCann-Erickson/Anderson & Lembke working on Coors, Levi's, HP, Excite.com, Netcom, and Microsoft accounts. Corey left the agency world to pursue an ad sales position with Ziff-Davis Interactive Week magazine. He then went on to develop the brand identity and consumer launch marketing campaigns of Snapfish.com photo-sharing site. In 2001, Corey led all advertising and public relations activities for Kensington, a leading computer accessories company. After Kensington, Corey led the research, testing and design of new search marketing tools and online advertising vehicles for Claria Corporation, a behavioral marketing leader.
Corey obtained his BA in History at UCLA in 2002.
