Laura Thieme founded Bizresearch in June of 1997. Bizresearch provides search engine marketing, tracking and ROI analysis services for retailers, Fortune 500 companies, and select law firms throughout the United States and in Europe.
Prior to founding Bizresearch, Ms. Thieme worked for American Electric Power (AEP) in Columbus, Ohio, and USAID/Deloitte & Touche in St. Petersburg, Russia. She has a degree in Russian Studies from The Ohio State University, where she graduated in 1993.
Ms. Thieme has been featured in Internet Retailer, TechNewsWorld, EcommerceTimes, CBS Marketwatch, New York Daily Post, Business First, Investors Business Daily, Columbus Dispatch, The Daily Reporter, MarketingSherpa, SearchDay, SearchEnginewatch.com and ClickZ.com.

She presented at DMA's .Net Marketing on Shopping Search Engines and the Inner Circle of Advocates' Personal Injury Lawyer Annual Conference. She is an expert witness in a case involving trademark and metatag concerns.
Ms. Thieme has written articles for her industry peers on "Measuring and Tracking Success", "Keyword Research", "Link Farms", and "Managing Paid Search Marketing Campaigns", which were published by SearchDay, an online industry publication for search engine marketers. Ms. Thieme's ecommerce research has been published in part by MarketingSherpa's Marketing Metrics Guide (2004). She is currently working on a book to be published in 2006.
