Ken Moss
General Manager of Development and Testing, MSN Search
Microsoft Corp.

Ken Moss is general manager of Development and Testing for MSN® Search, overseeing the technical team that created Bedrock (the MSN content platform) and the team that built and operated the MSN home page, My MSN, and 14 other MSN channels. He started working on MSN Search in January 2003 — right from the beginning of the development of the new algorithmic engine.

Moss has been at Microsoft Corp. for more than 15 years, splitting his time between Office and MSN, and has served in various product unit manager and development management jobs for MSN. He also is credited for his Excel development work and for creating PivotTable® dynamic views.

Moss received a bachelor of arts in molecular biology from Princeton University in 1988. His hobbies are his family and poker.
