Tim Brown is the UK Managing Director. He was responsible for launching RM UK in 1997.
He was one of a small group who started working with online advertising in 1996 and during this time has played a key role in the development of the medium. He has held various positions within Real Media that have given him unique expertise in both advertising technologies and the media side of the business. He has a tremendous amount of European experience as he is part of Real Media’s European management team and over the years has launched and managed many of its offices. More recently has been responsible for the successful launch of RM’s search business across Europe, 24/7 Search and is regarded as an authority in the field.
Before joining Real Media, Brown was vice president for European sales at Powers International, the UK office for the world’s largest international advertising representatives, Publigroupe.
Brown is currently serving on the European and UK board of the IAB and is a founding member of the steering committee of Fast. He is also a past chairman of the associate UK chapter of the International Advertising Association.
