Pete Blackshaw's varied experiences in marketing, government, consumer affairs and entrepreneurship runs a common theme - the power of the Internet to give consumers a voice and change the way things are done.

His background includes California political experience, where he played a role in the nation's first-ever "interactive" legislative hearing. Following graduation from Harvard Business School in 1995, he entered a four-year career at Procter & Gamble, where he helped manage the Bounty paper towel brand and helped launch Bounty Napkins and Impress Wrap. Blackshaw also developed tools for online sampling, issue monitoring and rumor-squashing about various products and brands. His P&G; team was named Advertising Age's "Interactive Marketer of the Year" in 1998. Two years later, he was named one of the nation's top 20 interactive marketers by the magazine.

In 1999, Pete left Procter & Gamble to found PlanetFeedback, which has become the nation's leading consumer feedback Web site. He served as CEO until its 2001 merger with Intelliseek.
