Mike has nearly a decade of online local media and marketing experience. After a brief stint at an Amazon.com wannabe during the dot-com bubble, Mike worked at The Orange County Register, the flagship newspaper of Freedom Communications. His work there ranged from being a producer on the content side to product development on the "dark side" (sales and marketing). He developed and managed the Register's email newsletter program and launched their local search marketing sales program, which became one of the fastest growing online sales programs the company had seen. Mike continued his focus on search marketing for local businesses when he joined WebVisible to manage their newspaper reseller channel relationships, where he launched over a dozen new reseller partners. Now at Where 2 Get It, Mike works with some of the nation's top retail and manufacturer brands to execute local online marketing strategies. Where 2 Get It's clients include Columbia Sportswear, Mitsubishi Digital, Office Depot, Safeway and Applebee's.
