Shaun was a co-founder of GlobalBrain.net. Shaun was CTO at GlobalBrain which developed S.L.I.'s search technology and licensed it to Snap.com. After GlobalBrain was sold to NBCi, Shaun was senior project manager at NBCi New Zealand. Prior to GlobalBrain Shaun ran a consulting company developing embedded software for various companies, including Invacare, a Global leader in wheelchair control systems. Shaun holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Canterbury.
