Greg Jarboe
President and Co-Founder
SEO-PR

Greg Jarboe is the president and co-founder of SEO-PR (www.seo-pr.com), which combines search engine optimization and public relations to increase brand awareness, drive traffic to web sites, generate leads, and sell products directly online. SEO-PR's clients include Southwest Airlines, Verizon superpages.com, the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and the Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization (SEMPO).

Danny Sullivan, the editor of SearchEngineWatch.com, has praised SEO-PR for "focusing on search as a public relations tool," and Rand Fishkin, the Daily SEO Show Anchor of the SEO Chat Forums, has said SEO-PR is "probably the most well-known PR firm dealing directly with the SEO industry."

Greg is a frequent speaker at Search Engine Strategies and other industry conferences, a guest writer for SearchDay and other publications, and the editor of SEO-PR's News Blog (http://newsblog.seo-pr.com/public). Larry Chase's Web Digest for Marketers recently called Greg and his partner, Jamie O'Donnell, two of "the hottest gurus in SEO."

Greg has more than 20 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, and search engine optimization. Prior to co-founding SEO-PR, he was Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Backbone Media, Vice President of Marketing for WebCT, Director of Corporate Communications for Ziff-Davis, President of Jarboe Communications, Director of Marketing for PC Computing, and Director of Corporate Communications for Lotus Development Corp.

Greg graduated from the University of Michigan, attended the University of Edinburgh, and completed all the course work for his Masters at Lesley College. He lives in Acton with his family and has served as the Chairman of the Acton Board of Selectmen. He is a member of the board of directors of the Massachusetts Software Council's Education Foundation.
