Massimo Burgio joined Ad Maiora, the Italian leader in the Search Engine Marketing industry, in April 2003, for the US offices’ start-up of the Company in San Francisco.
Massimo is a proud active member of the Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization (SEMPO), where he volunteers in both the European and the Marketing Committees.
Massimo has gained a deep knowledge and strong professional experience in the Internet market, working within the industry since its early steps in Italy back in 1996. Prior to joining Ad Maiora, Massimo was involved in the start-up and the marketing of Italy’s biggest Internet players (Kataweb, Wind, RAI Net), then moved on to the agencies’ side, operating as a Business and/or Marketing Director for the top creative interactive agencies in Rome, such as Deepend Italy and xister.
He is now passionately dedicated to search marketing, the hottest industry and the place to be in online advertising today.
Massimo earned a BA in Marketing Communication from the University of Rome (I) La Sapienza,
with cross-studies in the UK and Spain, then integrated with post-graduate studies in Paris (F) and Berkeley (CA).
