With over twelve years of experience in the Internet industry, Marckini is the author of the groundbreaking work, Achieving Top-10 Rankings in Internet Search Engines, which established him as an expert on the art and science of search engine positioning. The book has generated significant national press attention. His third and latest book, Search Engine Positioning, sold out before first printing and is now the most highly respected guide in the industry.

Marckini is a frequent speaker at e-commerce conferences around the country. He has spoken at many of the Search Engine Strategies Conferences and presented at the Massachusetts Interactive Media Council (MIMC) and @d:tech. Marckini has also spoken at events for Microsoft and the New England Journal of Medicine.

Prior to founding iProspect, Marckini served as managing director for The Public Affairs Group in Washington, D.C. He also has served as vice president of marketing and sales for a Maryland-based Internet services firm and as senior account executive, central Atlantic division, of then MCI Corporation.
