Search Engine Strategies' Kevin Ryan to Join 2008 Yahoo! Searchlight Awards Show Panel
Marketers, ad agencies celebrate creative spark at exclusive event
New York, NY - January 30, 2008 - All marketers look to spark the imaginations of their audiences. The Yahoo! Searchlight Award Show recognizes those who have achieved just that. Kevin Ryan, VP Global Content for Search Engine Strategies and Search Engine Watch, will be a featured panelist at this event, slated for February 12, 2008, at the Time Life Building in New York City. recognizing the most captivating search marketing applications.
The Yahoo! Searchlight Award illuminates those who have shown creativity and innovation in their search advertising ideas and executions. The award recognizes marketers and advertising agencies that develop search marketing applications outside of the tried and true direct response mindset—driving offline sales, brand support, buzz capitalization, and more using online media.
Ryan will participate in a panel of industry leaders for insights and commentary on the finalists' campaigns. The event will feature a keynote address on industry issues and the challenges facing today's marketers.
Formerly vice president of Interactive Media for the Interpublic Group and Wahlstrom Interactive, Ryan has represented such notable brands as Rolex Watch, USA, State Farm Insurance, Farmers Insurance, Minolta Corporation, Samsung Electronics America, Toyota Motor Sales, USA, Panasonic Services, and Hilton Hotels.
