Search Engine Strategies (SES) San Jose 2006 to Offer Paid Search Fundamentals Training

Andrew Goodman, Page Zero Media to Lead Training Session Dedicated to Paid Search and Pay-Per-Click Programs

New York, NY - August 2, 2006 - Search Engine Strategies (SES) Conference & Expo 2006 today announced that its San Jose event will offer a half-day training session dedicated to paid search fundamentals. Following the premier search industry event, which runs August 7-10, 2006, at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center, Andrew Goodman, author of Winning Results with Google AdWords and principal of Page Zero Media will lead an intensive, interactive session offering specific tips regarding paid search and pay-per-click programs, illustrated by live examples. The paid search fundamentals training will take place from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. PDT at the Marriott Hotel on Friday, August 11th.

Search Engine Strategies created an additional day dedicated to training in order to provide attendees with guided, hands-on exposure that puts theory into practice in a highly interactive environment. Paid search is extremely significant as it now accounts for fifty per cent (50%) of all online advertising spending. The paid search fundamentals workshop will give attendees the opportunity to learn from a leading industry expert on how to develop expertise in this area that is rapidly becoming a must for any serious online marketer.

The paid search fundamentals workshops will consist of in-depth training in a small-class setting with search engine marketing guru Goodman readily accessible for informal one-on-one or small-group discussions. The workshops will be invaluable for any company or organization needing to generate cost-effective leads or sales through their website, or anyone who advises companies on their web strategy or sales. Those with existing paid search campaigns, especially those with campaigns recently launched or undergoing review, will be the most likely to benefit from this seminar.

During the half day of workshop training, Goodman will discuss paid search and pay-per-click programs and the control, measurability, and ROI they provide. Buying targeted clicks isnīt just the "next best thing" to attracting free "organic" search referrals to your website - many say it's actually better. Attendees can expect a session geared towards the intermediate-level online marketer that will flexibly switch between tutorial "presentation" mode, and live examples.

The paid search fundamentals class can be taken in addition to the SES San Jose conference or independently. Go to https://searchenginesstrategies.com/sew/summer06/training.html to view the training class schedule. To register for the supplemental training sessions, go to https://searchenginesstrategies.com/sew/summer06/registration.html, email the SES Registration Department at registration@incisivemedia.com, or call (203) 295-0050. The fee to attend the half day workshop is $695.
