Search Engine Strategies (SES) San Jose 2006 to Offer Keyword Research Workshop
Dan Thies, SEO Research Labs, to Lead Training Session Dedicated to Keyword Research
New York, NY - August 3, 2006 - Search Engine Strategies (SES) Conference & Expo 2006 today announced that its San Jose event will offer a half-day training session dedicated to keyword research. Following the premier search industry event, which runs August 7-10, 2006, at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center, Dan Thies , founder of SEO Research Labs, will lead an intensive, interactive session offering specific tips on keyword strategy, the cornerstone of all search engine marketing efforts. The keyword research training will take place from 1 p.m.-5 p.m. PDT at the Marriott Hotel on Friday, August 11th.
Search Engine Strategies created an additional day dedicated to training in order to provide attendees with guided, hands-on exposure that puts theory into practice in a highly interactive environment. Finding and targeting searchers depends on effective keyword research. The keyword research workshop will give attendees the opportunity to learn from a leading industry expert on how to develop effective keyword lists for SEO and pay-per-click campaigns, how to identify and counter competitor's tactics, and how to leverage the flow of incoming data to improve the effectiveness of your pay-per-click campaigns.
The keyword research workshops will consist of in-depth training in a small-class setting with keyword guru Thies readily accessible for informal one-on-one or small-group discussions. This program is intended for SEO/SEM consultants, site designers, developers, in-house search engine marketing specialists, Internet consulting professionals and entrepreneurs who want to make the most of the opportunity search engines offer.
During the half day of workshop training, Thies will provide fast-paced training, emphasizing best practices in keyword research. Thies has been helping to promote businesses online since Netscape was a start-up. He is author and publisher of the top-selling e-book "Search Engine Optimization Fast Start," now in its 4th edition. Dan launched SEO Research Labs in early 2003, following numerous requests from readers for keyword research services.
The keyword research class can be taken in addition to the SES San Jose conference or independently.
