Laurent Baleydier (35yo) is the inventor of the KartOO cartography technology : the search tool www.kartoo.com. After having finished his engineering studies and specializing in the design of innovating solutions and management of projects at the ESIM (Central School of Marseille), he created his own company in the development of educational CD-ROMs and e-learning application. His project of development of information search systems to visual interfaces was developed from the relationships with large publishing groups into 1997, who wished to transpose their encyclopaedic contents on CD- ROMs and proposed an innovating and interactive search system compared to a classical system. Laurent is responsible for all the decisions and innovations taken in the field of solution design and lays down the strategic orientations of KartOO S.A. for the three next years. KartOO is now the french leader of Data Visualization and launches new Intranet product : KVisu for Google Search Appliance.
