Since Motoko established AJPR in 1998, she has been working with companies from around the world, helping them to enter the Japanese market using the Internet. She also has been giving SEO/SEM seminars to promote the concept of SEO/SEM, targeting the Japanese market to companies and web professionals. Prior to establishing AJPR, she worked as a senior marketing manager at a Japanese trading company, managing projects with U.S. and Japanese companies for eight years. She writes about Japanese online market at her blog at AJPR.com and Multilingual-Search.com. She is a chair of SEMPO (Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization) Asia Working Group, and a co-chair of SEMPO Japan.
