Laura Thieme founded Bizresearch in June of 1997. Bizresearch provides organic and CPC search engine marketing, tracking and ROI analysis services for retailers, Fortune 500 companies, and manufacturers throughout the United States.
Prior to founding Bizresearch, Ms. Thieme worked for American Electric Power (AEP) in Columbus, Ohio, and USAID/Deloitte & Touche in St. Petersburg, Russia. She has a degree in Russian Studies from The Ohio State University, where she graduated in 1993.
Ms. Thieme has been featured in CBS Marketwatch, New York Daily Post, Business First, Investors Business Daily, Columbus Dispatch, Columbus Business Today, The Daily Reporter, Small Business News-Columbus, SearchDay, and SearchEnginewatch.com. She presents at both U.S. and European Search Engine Strategies conferences, which have global attendees. Presentations include “Measuring & Tracking Success (ROI)”, “Marketing Database Driven Web Sites”, and “Shopping Search Engines”. She has also presented at the eMarketing conference held annually. Ms. Thieme also makes frequent presentations to local chambers, technology organizations, a couple of which have been featured on Cable TV.
Ms. Thieme writes articles for her industry peers. Articles have included “Measuring and Tracking Success”, “Keyword Research”, and “Link Farm Problems” which were published by SearchDay, an online industry publication for search engine marketers.
