Erik Hawkins

Citysearch
Erik Hawkins is the senior vice president of product for Citysearch, a
leading provider of local search services. He is responsible for
Citysearch's product strategy, design and development, and oversees the
organization's business development, operations and customer service groups.
Hawkins joined Citysearch in April 2003.
Prior to Citysearch, Hawkins served as a partner account executive for
Yahoo! Music, where he sold advertising, syndicated content, promotions and
interactive web applications to major brand advertisers and leading
advertising agencies. In 2002, Hawkins closed Yahoo Music's largest ad deal
to date, and was recognized as Yahoo's outstanding salesperson. He also
acted as director, sales and marketing production and later as executive
producer for Launch Media, managing the company's product managers, web
developers and producers and overseeing the advertising operations group.
Hawkins began his career as a Russian translator in the U.S. Army and worked
for such prominent organizations as Earthlink, AT&T;, and Sprint
International prior to joining Launch. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree
from the University of the State of New York, Albany. Hawkins resides in
Los Angeles with his wife.
