Cam Balzer has been providing strategic direction to web site development and online marketing projects since 1996. As Manager of Online Marketing for ConsumerGuide.com, he has increased site traffic 2500% in the last year through incremental site improvements aimed at visitors first and search engines second. Pay-per-click marketing has produced similar revenue growth for Consumer Guide's online products. Both SEO and PPC programs were developed and run solely with in-house resources.
In his initial position at Consumer Guide, Senior Web Producer, Cam directed the initial launches of ConsumerGuide.com and ExxonMobilTravel.com content sites, and the subsequent release of numerous online product offerings. Prior to that Cam was Internet Manager for Baxter Healthcare in Deerfield, IL, where he developed the company's online career portal, relaunched the corporate web site, and consulted with Baxter's divisions and global regions on the development of sites aimed at consumers and healthcare professionals.
