David Pann

David Pann is Vice President of Marketplace Design and Matching for Yahoo! Search Marketing. He brings over 10 years of experience in the Internet industry, overseeing product management for the marketplace and matching technologies that power Yahoo!'s suite of sponsored search and listings products.
Previous to Yahoo!, Pann held several senior roles at NetIQ Corporation, a leading provider of comprehensive IT systems and security management solutions. This included Vice President and General Manager of the VoIP Business Unit, where he initiated the introduction of a new VoIP security product and was responsible for the division's products, marketing and strategic relationships. He also held the roles of Vice President of Strategic Alliances, and Vice President Product Marketing, Management and Business Development for the company.
Prior, Pann was Vice President of Marketing and Product Management at IQ Labs, where he was responsible for product management and corporate marketing teams which defined the company's communication infrastructure management software solution. He also held the same role at Aceva Technologies, where he oversaw the product marketing and management group which created Aceva's B2B eCommerce platform; as well as at Dynamic Transactions, where he oversaw the product marketing and customer service organization supporting the companies' billing and P2P payment service.
Pann began his online career at Netscape as their Senior Director for the Netcenter Computer and Internet Channel, managing Netcenter's computer and Internet channel, as well as their electronic software distribution services.
Pann holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Business Administration from the University of Vermont.
