Teare co-founded RealNames in November 1997 with the vision of making
navigation on the Internet easier using the company's Internet Keywords. He
is currently the CEO and Chairman of the Board, and also served as President
until February 2000. Previously, Teare co-founded and served as Chief
Technical Officer at The Easynet Group, an Internet Service Provider. Prior
to that, Teare founded Cybercafe LTD, owner of the Cyberia brand of
cybercafes, and has served on its board of directors since August 1994.
