Education and Travel Sectors Set To Increase Push
Into Digital Marketing

Latest figures from Search Engine Strategies (SES) Conference & Expo London show significant increase in representation from the two key industries

London - 28 January 2009 - Incisive Media today announced its latest results for the Search Engine Strategies London 2009 Conference & Expo, the premier UK event for search engine marketing and optimization. www.SearchEngineStrategies.com/london.

With less than four weeks to go (SES London takes place on 17-19 February 2009 at the Business Design Centre in Islington) organisers have seen an increase in the number of delegates attending this year's show compared to last year, with a significant rise in percentage representation from the Education and Travel industries.

Matt McGowan, Publisher of the conference series in addition to its sister sites ClickZ and Search Engine Watch said:

"Along with the global SES series of events, SES London traditionally sees a fairly even split of delegates from the main industry sectors. Attendance figures are up 11% compared to last year, which is not surprising as businesses invest more of their budgets in digital marketing. What's noticeable this year however is the increase in representation from the education and travel industries. Delegates from these two sectors have increased by 10% (Education) and 16% (Travel). Many of Europe's leading universities are sending people to SES London - from web managers to researchers. Similarly, established travel companies and tour operators are, as always, well represented, but this year has seen an increase in representation from the smaller, more niche, travel companies. The figures suggest that these two sectors will see significant growth in digital marketing spend this year."

The SEM and SEO conference has been organized by the team at Search Engine Watch, recognized globally as a leading authority on search engine marketing, and hosted by SEM expert Mike Grehan. All sessions are uniquely ranked according to content and degree of understanding, which is why SES London is recognized as a crucial event for beginners as well as experienced search marketers.
