Google, Ask.com Executives to Keynote Search Engine Strategies (SES) San Jose 2007
Search & marketing professionals flock to hear latest news from top industry experts
New York, NY - August 6, 2007 - Keynote addresses from Ask.com CEO, Jim Lanzone, and Google Vice President of Search Products & User Experience, Marissa Mayer, are set to kick off this year's Search Engine Strategies (SES) San Jose '07. The premier search industry event runs August 20-23, 2007, at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center.
With more than 60 panels and sessions on timely topics including video search, click fraud and mobile search, SES San Jose is a popular annual event which draws search and marketing professionals from around the country. Paid attendance and exhibition space is already running 100 percent over last year's event at this time, event organizers confirmed.
On Tuesday, August 21 at 9:00am, Ask.com's Lanzone is slated to discuss the launch of Ask.com's new Ask3D interface and the challenges they face luring searchers away from their more trafficked peers.
On Wednesday, August 22 at 9:00am, Google's Mayer will share insights into Google's moves in search, including recent changes to add more personalized and "universal" search results.
Incisive Media, parent company of the SES series, each year seeks to find ways to enhance the conference experience and this year's keynote speakers are no exception. "We're forever looking to raise the bar on the caliber of speakers and sessions," said Kevin Ryan, VP of Global Content for the SES series and Search Engine Watch. "We're immensely pleased to bring together the foremost experts in search for this event. The search arena is evolving quickly and we all learn from each other. That's the spirit of SES."
Co-organized and co-hosted by world-renowned search authorities Chris Sherman and Danny Sullivan, SES San Jose '07 will highlight sessions such as "The Search Landscape," "Video Search Optimization" and "One Billion Searchers" which examines SEO in China. In addition to the conference, there will be a full day of search training courses on topics such as "Tech Pitfalls That Will Derail Your SEO" and "Viral Marketing and Link Baiting."
