Google's Latin American General Manager to Deliver Keynote at Popular Search Engine Strategies Event
Search Engine Strategies Latino Search to Feature Keynote Speaker Gonzalo Alonso
New York, NY - June 8, 2007 - Incisive Media announced today that Gonzalo Alonso, Google's General Manager for Latin America, will be the featured speaker at Search Engine Strategies (SES) Latino Edition in Miami, Florida (www.SESLatino.com) on June 18-19, 2007.
The SES Latino Edition affords executives, marketers and webmasters invaluable insight into the right strategies and tactics for attracting the lucrative Latino audience. Alonso is responsible for the operation of all the Hispanic markets in Latin America and the United States for Google, Inc. From 2005-2007, he served as Google's General Manager in Mexico. Before joining Google, Gonzalo Alonso was the Sales Director of T1MSN, the largest portal in Latin America. His team increased sales of online advertising by 35% during 2003-2004, increasing T1MSN online sales market share from 18% to 28%. This helped the overall online ad market grow by nearly one third in just one year. His restructuring of the sales organization based on a customer-oriented experience drove sales up by 30% in its first year.
