Katie Winterbottom is the Director of Outreach and Development for Grassroots.org, a national nonprofit organization. In her current role, she manages several programs, including SEO.Grassroots.org and the Social Ventures Consulting Program. Katie's interest in technology as a tool for social change was initially sparked by her experience as a post-grad fellow in Accra Ghana, where established a technology education program in a public school. Katie lives in Brooklyn, where she enjoys walking, reading, and playing the banjo.
