Jeff Torgerson

Jeff Torgerson, Manager - Product Management, is responsible for driving Idearc's mobile strategy and products. Prior to Idearc's acquisition of InfoSpace's online directory assets, Torgerson was a senior product manger for mobile local search at InfoSpace. During his time with InfoSpace, Torgerson managed the mobile local search application releases in J2ME, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile and Web 2.0. Torgerson also defined and launched the first ad-supported iPhone Web 2.0 application, which has since been widely received by the industry.
Torgerson has more than 12 years of engineering experience as a developer and product manager. Prior to joining InfoSpace, Torgerson owned and operated a private Web development company. He also spent two years at Boeing where he worked as part of the Web Management team for the company's main facility in Washington.
Torgerson graduated from the United States Air Force Technical College.
