Squarely in sync with the innovative spirit of Fathom Online, Matt McMahon joined the start-up after a lengthy stint at search pioneer Ask Jeeves. There, Matt worked on the front lines of interactive marketing during its formative years and launched the search engine's Paid Inclusion product. Prior to his tenure at Ask Jeeves, Matt was one of LeftField Advertising's top media strategists, managing premium accounts such as Amazon.com, Sun Microsystems and Bank of America. In Fathom Online's two-year history, Matt has built and developed teams of top-flight experts in search engine buying, planning, research and analytics. Working closely with Fathom's technology teams, he pioneered and developed a leading-edge data management system, giving clients the ability to make more effective marketing decisions. In 2004, Matt was instrumental in developing the Fathom Online Keyword Price IndexTM (KPI), which has become an industry standard for tracking increases and decreases in the price of online advertising keywords in real time.
