Suggested Itineraries
There's a lot going on at Search Engine Strategies. To help you make the best use of your time, here are some suggested itineraries, depending on your skills or interest level. However, you don't have to follow our exact routes, as your personal interests may vary.

INTEREST ITINERARIES:
BASIC - ADVANCED - TECH - MARKETING - ENTERPRISE

Basic Itinerary For Beginners
Brand new to search engine marketing? Follow the recommended sessions below, and you'll be on your way to success with search engines!

Day 1:

    9:00-10:30 - Back To Basics
    11:00-12:00 - Designing Search Engine Friendly Sites
    1:15-2:45 - Successful Site Architecture (or Buying Paid Listings, if you come for only Day 1)
    3:15-4:15 - Search Term Research
    4:30-5:30 - Writing For Search Engines or Site Clinic

Day 2:

    9:00-10:30 - Buying Paid Listings, if you missed it on Day 1. Otherwise, any session of interest
    11:00-12:00 - Link Building or Dealing With Directories.
    1:15-2:45 - Meet The Crawlers or Converting Visitors Into Buyers
    3:15-4:15 - Looking At Links, if you missed Link Building. Otherwise, Cloaking & Doorways
    4:30-5:30 - I'm So Confused or Site Clinic

Day 3:
It's recommended to attend all the "clinic" sessions, but especially attend the Successful Site Architecture and Writing For Search Engines clinics if you missed the counterpart sessions on Day 1


Advanced Itinerary
Experienced with search engine marketing? The sessions below may be best for you.

Day 1:

    9:00-10:30 - Measuring Success: Part 1 or Tips & Tools Forum
    11:00-12:00 - Shop Talk Forum
    1:15-2:45 - Any session of interest
    3:15-4:15 - Any session of interest
    4:30-5:30 - Any session of interest

Day 2:

    9:00-10:30 - Any session of interest
    11:00-12:00 - Any session of interest, but Anatomy of a Search Engine may be especially interesting
    1:15-2:45 - Any session of interest, but Perfecting Paid Listings may be especially interesting
    3:15-4:15 - Any session of interest
    4:30-5:30 - Any session of interest, but Paid Inclusion Forum may be especially interesting

Day 3:
It's probably best to attend sessions in the "Issues" track, but do attend any "clinics" or sessions in the "Enterprise" track, if these are of interest.


Tech Itinerary
Mainly interested in sessions that deal with the technical issues of search engine marketing? Then try these:

Day 1:

    9:00-10:30 - Tips & Tools Forum
    11:00-12:00 - Shop Talk Forum
    1:15-2:45 - Successful Site Architecture or Big Sites & Big Brands Forum
    3:15-4:15 - Search Term Research or Paid Listing Tools
    4:30-5:30 - Writing For Search Engines or Site Clinic

Day 2:

    9:00-10:30 - Dynamic & Ecommerce Web Sites
    11:00-12:00 - Any session of interest, but Anatomy of a Search Engine may be especially interesting
    1:15-2:45 - Meet The Crawlers
    3:15-4:15 - Looking At Links or Cloaking & Doorways
    4:30-5:30 - Any session of interest, but Paid Inclusion Forum may be especially interesting

Day 3:

Marketing Itinerary
Is your background in advertising or marketing? Do you have a budget and are use to purchasing ads? Then these sessions may fit well with your job and interests:

Day 1:

    9:00-10:30 - Measuring Success: Part 1
    11:00-12:00 - Measuring Success: Part 2
    1:15-2:45 - Buying Paid Listings or Big Sites & Big Brands Forum
    3:15-4:15 - Paid Listings Tools or Search Term Research
    4:30-5:30 - Selecting A Search Engine Marketing Firm or Writing For Search Engines

Day 2:

    9:00-10:30 - Buying Paid Listings, if you missed it on Day 1. Otherwise, any session of interest
    11:00-12:00 - Link Building or Dealing With Directories.
    1:15-2:45 - Perfecting Paid Listings or Converting Visitors Into Buyers
    3:15-4:15 - Looking At Links, if you missed Link Building. Otherwise, Cloaking & Doorways
    4:30-5:30 - Paid Inclusion Forum

Day 3:
The Paid Listings Clinic, Search Term Research Clinic and Converting Visitors Clinic are especially recommended, though the other clinics may still be helpful. Sessions in the "Enterprise" track probably will not be of interest.

Enterprise Search Itinerary
Interested in making your enterprise or site searchable? On the third day of Search Engine Strategies, there's a track just for you, with these sessions:
