SAN DIEGO, CA, January 14, 2010—SES today announced a one-day event in San Diego, the SES Search and Social Accelerator. This event is being held in collaboration with OMS (Online Marketing Summit) and will take place from 8:45 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 10, 2011. The SES Accelerator is aimed at experienced search engine marketers (SEMs).
The event’s opening keynote speech will be given by Mikel Chertudi of Adobe Systems. A veteran marketer, Chertudi is Adobe’s Sr. Director of Online & Demand Marketing. He is responsible for overseeing global strategy and execution for new customer acquisition and cross selling through the use of multiple channels, including both paid search and SEO.
When asked about his impending keynote, Chertudi, who is also a member of the SES Advisory Board, remarked, “Having been very impressed with SES Chicago a few months ago as an attendee and participant, I’m looking forward to sharing insights that will help marketers drive growth while increasing their ROI during the keynote at this SES event for advanced SEMs. SES Accelerator is going to give everyone a peek into the rapid advances of how multi-channel measurement and attribution is becoming more sophisticated and accurate beyond the ‘siloed’ view of each marketing channel.”
Chertudi went on to say, “We'll be sharing some of the marketing techniques and best practices that we’ve been implementing at Adobe as well as some breaking industry research in attribution and econometric modeling that help the world's leading advertisers and marketers know optimal investment levels in each channel. We are big believers in deploying a comprehensive marketing mix with search and social media being cornerstone elements in driving demand and building the brand.”
