Vanessa Fox is Product Team Lead at Zillow.com, in charge of the teams that develop Zillow's local advertising and email marketing products for home buyers, sellers, owners and real estate professionals.

Prior to joining Zillow in mid-2007, Vanessa was product manager for Google Webmaster Central , where she built tools to help site owners learn more about their sites in the Google index. Her degree in English in the early 90s prepared her well the ever-exciting changes that working in the technology industry brings. In the early-web world of the mid-90s, she was her company's first webmaster, she's worked on predictive text input for mobile phones at AOL, and at one point, was licensed to drive a forklift.

A prominent blogger, Vanessa regularly attends search, blogging and technology-related conferences throughout the year. In her spare time, she is an avid Buffy The Vampire Slayer fan.
