Brian Clifton (Ph.D.) is an established search engine marketing and web analytics expert who has worked in these fields since 1997. Specializing in web analytics and search marketing, his business was the first U.K. partner for Urchin Software Inc., the company that later became Google Analytics. Brian joined Google in 2005 to define, develop and lead the web analytics team for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The author of a number of industry whitepapers, Brian is currently authoring his first book, entitled Advanced Web Metrics with Google Analytics (www.advanced-web-metrics.com).
