Jennifer Laycock
Editor-in-Chief
Search Engine Guide
Jennifer Laycock has been involved in Internet marketing since 1995 and with search engine optimization (SEO) since 2001. After "serving her time" working for a variety of different firms, she left the world of traditional agencies to serve as editor–in–chief of Search Engine Guide, an industry site aimed at educating small business owners about search engine marketing. Laycock now focuses primarily on education, training and consulting as an independent SEM for small to mid–size businesses throughout the United States.
Known for her down–to–earth style of teaching and a special focus on educating small business owners, Jennifer focuses on inspiring companies with new ideas without leaving their heads spinning with techno-talk. She is author of "The Small Business Guide to Search Engine Marketing" and of the free "Zero Dollars, a Little Bit of Talent and 30 Days" series.
Jennifer has worked for companies like Highlights for Children, Verizon, American Greetings and Option Line, a national 24–hour crisis–pregnancy hotline. She has also been interviewed and quoted by several publications including The Financial Times, USA Today, The San Francisco Chronicle and Entrepreneur magazine. |
