Joe Hayashi

Joe Hayashi is the senior director of product management for Yahoo!'s product strategy group, which serves as an incubator unit to quickly develop innovative new products and services at Yahoo! Hayashi directs the product strategy team that identifies and develops new products, tools and platforms.
Hayashi joined Yahoo! in 2004 and most recently lead the highly successful launch of Yahoo! Podcasts, the company's first foray into podcasting. He was previously with Apple, where he managed product marketing initiatives for internet services as well as mobile phone and productivity software. Before Apple, Hayashi co-founded eCircles, which was later acquired by Classmates.com. Hayashi holds a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard.
